With Halloween just around the corner, it seems as if our appetite for creepiness has significantly increased. Most of us have already started thinking about scary costumes and scary decorations meant to instill fear among anyone who comes to visit this Halloween.
Well, if you’re still haven’t chosen a theme for this year’s Halloween party, this post can sure serve as a source of inspiration.
Located in Wicklow, Ireland, The Indian Sculpture Park in Victoria’s Way is a park like you’ve never seen before – one that will send shivers down your spine. In fact, the space was designed as an open air exhibition park.
The statues exposed there are definitely creepy, and that’s putting it lightly! The park’s history is also pretty eerie and unusual. Also, it holds a deeper meaning. You see, the park was established by creator Victor Langheld back in 1989. The man came up with this idea after having had travelled to India in search of spiritual enlightenment.
The purpose with which this unusual harden was build was to encourage visitors to reflect about their human condition. The entire space is meant to induce self-reflection and make you get in touch with your deepest thoughts and emotions.
The majority of the statues there are e made of black granite, and range in height from 4 feet to 16 feet.
If you get a chance to travel to Ireland anytime in the future, this park is definitely a destination you should include in your itinerary.
My question is: Would you dare to visit this park at night?
