A British man was reunited with his wedding ring he dropped in a harbor six years ago. Mark Thorne works as a lifeboat paramedic. During an emergency call in 2009 the man’s wedding ring slipped from his finger in Weymouth harbor. Despite having searched the entire shoreline with a metal detector, the ring was nowhere to be found. Finally, Mark gave up hope. But six years after the incident one of Mark’s friends found his platinum ring during a stroll along the shore at low tide. “I’d like to say a massive thank you to him for continuing to look, even after I’d given up finding it,” said Mark.
