If you’ve ever had a puppy, then you know much they can be just like babies. They get scared at night and don’t like sleeping alone, they experiment all kinds of new things every single day, and the list could go on.
It’s a pretty scary world out there for a puppy that is all alone. It’s noisy, cold, and strangers are everywhere you look. No wonder Meesha the puppy felt overwhelmed when she was taken in for surgery at the BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore. After her medical intervention, the pup was in some pain, and needed some love and attention. Luckily, the dedicated medical staff at the facility went beyond their job description to make sure the dog was as comfortable as possible in her situation.
Surgical assistant Dennis Moses was caught on video while he was consoling the whimpering pup after a surgical intervention and the images are going viral. The man gently holds Meesha in her arms and he kisses and hugs her to let her know everything will be okay.
With everything going on the world right now, it’s nice to see caring, gentle people are still making a difference in the world.
