Now, let me start by saying that it’s never okay to pass judgments about someone simply based on their nationality and without having a chance to get to know that person a little bit better. One of the best things about people is that they can always surprise you, so you should never make assumptions based on superficial things that more often than not are stuff that most of us can’t actually pick.
That being said, we can’t deny that some stereotypes are rooted in reality. Based on the environment they’ve grown up in, people tend to form certain specific habits and have specific behaviors. Generally speaking, one can clearly make the difference between someone who was born and raised in the United States from someone who was born and raised in Russia based on the way they are dressed, their gestures, their accent, and so on.
It’s always interesting to see how people who are from different cultures see others who live in a totally different part of the world.
