This Rumble Strip Along Route 66 Plays “America The Beautiful” When Driven Over

Nothing compares with that feeling you get when you’re driving in your car and there’s nothing in front of you but a beautiful open road. The only thing that can make things better is some music to keep you company along the way.
But if that music was played by the road itself? Yep, you read that right. Just east of Albuquerque, New Mexico, there’s a length of famous Route 66 that has rumble strips cut into it which actually sings “America The Beautiful” if ran over it at a certain speed, 45 miles per hour to be more exact.
The couple in the video below wanted to give it a try and see if the road can actually “sing,” and captured the exact moment they ran over the rumble strips. The result is more than expected, and will definitely want to make you get up in your car and head over to New Mexico to give it a shot yourself.
Don’t you wish there was a soundtrack for every beautiful scenery you get to see and every iconic road you get to drive on? It would surely enhance the overall experience; don’t you think?
