According to articles published in 1930 by Time Magazine and the New York Times, Li Ching-Yun Chinese lived 256 years, he changed 23 wives and had over 180 offspring !Did he really lived so long? Yuen was a martial arts instructor and herb connoisseur.
When asked about the secret of his longevity, Li said, “Keep a quiet heart, sit like a tortoise, go fast like a pigeon and sleep like a dog.”
Li explained that the secrets of his incredible longevity are inner calm and peaceful mind. His diet was based largely on rice and wine. According to the New York Times, Li believed that anyone could live for at least a century if he gains inner peace.
