Chances are you’ve seen a ventriloquist show before. After all, they have become quite common. And although all ventriloquists have their own style and personalities that translate into their routines, there is one thing all ventriloquists shows have in common.
I am talking about the fact that the puppet and the ventriloquist have to be standing next to each other. That’s because, as you know, the ventriloquist is the one who controls the puppet’s movements.
This detail is what makes the performance in the video below one-of-a-kind. You see, at one point during his show for the America’s Got Talent semifinals, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin actually left the stage, leaving his puppet in the middle of the stage to finish the act.
The puppet almost appeared as if it was coming to life, which instantly won the entire audience, as well as the members of the jury, over. No one could believe what they were seeing or find an explanation for how Paul managed to pull something like this off.
No matter how old you are, you are still going to enjoy this awesome ventriloquist act like a kid! So take a look and don’t forget to share!
