When you’re on a plane, the last thing you want is to experience any surprises. You just want the flight to be as relaxing as possible and with no incidents. For Diane Hollifield Cupp, a flight to Atlanta turned out to be one of the most surprising experiences in her life, one that she will never forget. Don’t worry, it was all for the right reasons.
The woman was returning from a trip she took with her husband across several historic cities in Europe that are related to World War 2. It’s during her trip that the woman found that soldier’s remains from the war are still being discovered today. It’s a piece of information that made an impression on Diane.
That is why she was totally surprised when she found out that there was a man onboard of the flight home who was escorting the remains of a WWII soldier to their final destination in Houston. The members of the Iowa Ambassadors of Music Choi were also onboard, so when the plane landed and the soldier’s remains were being taken off of the plane, they began singing.
What Diane recorded next will give you goosebumps.
