A British woman used Google to diagnose herself with ovarian cancer after doctors misdiagnosed her. The 22 year-old-woman discovered using Google that most of her symptoms were indicating towards cancer.
It all started after Sadie Rance reported to the hospital complaining of stomach pain and constipation. Doctors told her she was suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but when her condition worsened she decided to act alone and started documenting her symptoms online. Thus, she found that her symptoms coincide with nearly all signs of ovarian cancer. Sadie returned to the hospital where doctors discovered a tumor the size of a watermelon in her stomach.
